This Privacy Policy describes how Torch ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the Torch mobile application (the "App"). The App is designed for professional residential home service technicians to evaluate systems, explain complex issues, and present options to homeowners.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account Information: Your name and email address. Optionally, your ServiceTitan credentials if you choose to connect your ServiceTitan account.
• Inspection Data: Information entered during HVAC equipment inspections, including equipment details, checklist responses, technician notes, and inspection reports generated through the App. This data is stored in our secure database so that technicians can access their completed reports at any time.
• Photos: The App requests access to your device's camera and photo library solely to allow you to capture and attach photos of equipment during inspections. Photos are uploaded to and stored in a private, access-controlled cloud storage bucket (Amazon S3) and linked to the corresponding inspection record.
• Usage Data: Job-related information including the date and time of each job. No other usage or behavioral data is collected.
• Device Information: A unique device identifier to associate your device with your account.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Authentication: We use your account information (name and email) to verify your identity and grant you access to the App.
• Report storage and access: Inspection data and generated reports are stored in our secure database, and photos are stored in a private Amazon S3 bucket, so that technicians can retrieve and review their completed reports at any time from any authorized device.
• ServiceTitan integration: If you choose to connect your ServiceTitan account, we use your credentials to retrieve job assignments assigned to you within your organization. We do not store or process this data beyond what is necessary to display it within the App.
• Technical diagnostics: We may use device information to identify and resolve technical issues that affect App performance or stability.

3. Camera and Photo Library Access

The App requests permission to access your device's camera and photo library. This access is used exclusively to capture photos of home systems and equipment during inspections. Photos are uploaded to a private, access-controlled cloud storage bucket (Amazon S3) and linked to the corresponding inspection record so they can be included in finalized reports. We do not use your camera or photos for any other purpose. You may deny camera access, but this will limit certain features of the App. You can manage these permissions at any time through your device settings.

4. Data Storage and Security

Inspection data and reports are stored in our secure database. Photos are stored separately in a private, access-controlled cloud storage bucket provided by Amazon Web Services (S3). All storage is access-controlled and not publicly accessible. We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Offline use: The App supports completing inspection flows without an active internet connection. While offline, inspection data is temporarily stored on your device. When you choose to save the inspection, the App establishes a connection to our servers and transmits the data at that point. No data is sent in the background without your action.

5. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third-party services to operate:

• Amazon Web Services (S3): We use AWS S3 to store inspection photos in a private, access-controlled bucket. AWS's privacy practices are described at aws.amazon.com/privacy.
• ServiceTitan: The App optionally integrates with ServiceTitan, a field service management platform. If you provide ServiceTitan credentials, job assignments and related data may be retrieved from your organization's ServiceTitan account. The use of your data within ServiceTitan is governed by ServiceTitan's own Privacy Policy, available at servicetitan.com/privacy-policy.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties and do not share it with parties other than those described in this policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you wish to request deletion of your data, please contact us using the information in Section 9 below.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended solely for use by professional technicians and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
